Initiated in 2014 in Graz, Austria, Urban Future is now the most important conference for experts, politicians, entrepreneurs, and leaders making cities sustainable. Hosted in a different city each year, thousands of CityChangers from all over the world share how they create transformation and which mistakes are made, accelerating change and successfully shaping the future of our cities.
This year, the Urban Future Global Conference (UFGC) is coming to the home town of Mercedes-Benz. The annual conference on sustainable urban development will take place from 21 to 23 June 2023 at the Haus der Wirtschaft in Stuttgart. Mercedes-Benz is actively involved in shaping this conference.
Behind the UFGC is a community of 50,000 urban changemakers committed to creating sustainable, equitable, social and green cities. They are mayors, architects, mobility experts, urban planners, scientists, sustainability managers, startup representatives, environmentalists, innovation experts, and more. What unites them all is a passion for better cities. Together, they will find answers to the most pressing questions, highlight effective solutions, and share knowledge. On June 21 and 22, more than 2,500 participants, more than 200 speakers from four continents and more than 125 city delegations are expected in Stuttgart, Germany, all dedicated to making our cities more sustainable.
As one of the four main partners of the UFGC, Mercedes-Benz is demonstrating its strength as a thought leader in urban mobility and its corporate social responsibility in our home city. Through our participation, we aim to work with urban changemakers to accelerate the transformation to sustainable cities and establish Mercedes-Benz as part of the solution. We will inspire, challenge and connect. The focus will be on participating in keynotes and panels, as well as co-creating community events and field trips. Will you be joining us at the Haus der Wirtschaft? We look forward to seeing you.

In addition, Mercedes-Benz is hosting an "Inspiration Day" ahead of the official UFGC, where we will bring together a select group of thought leaders: city representatives and mobility stakeholders, as well as Mercedes-Benz representatives. It promises to be an exciting discussion on the most important mobility topics in cities and beyond.
The agenda includes an exclusive tour of Factory 56, the prototype digital car factory. Insights will be provided into Mercedes-Benz's corporate strategy, the challenges of sustainable mobility and vehicle manufacturing, as well as automation and connectivity. The event will conclude with a World Café discussion in small groups on the biggest mobility challenges, strategies and projects, the role and place of the car in 2030, and the vehicle features needed in the future.
